Farm week 2

 Shucking corn in the sensory table.

 Sorting different farm animal cards.

 Learning about prayer at Jesus time with Mr. Mark
 Painting muddy pigs with chocolate pudding. 


 Tapping sticks with Mrs. Hunt.


We pretended to feel sheep wool and took turns describing how it felt.
 Different words we came up with to describe the wool included scratchy, itchy, rough and soft.

 Sorting the letter F and B at circle.

We sheared "sheep" using shaving cream and balloons.


Playing mega blocks outside on a beautiful day!

Farm

It has been a fun week on the "farm" here in the Monkey Class.
We acted out Old McDonald had a farm.



Rode horses on the farm.
We measured how long different farm animals are.



We made farm animal footprints in kinetic sand,



We took turns "Milking" a cow,




and explored new items in our science/math area.

Pastor Mike helped us count how long different farm animals were.

Apples: week 2

We had another fun week learning about Apples. 
 We sorted the letter A and T at circle time.

 working on our fine motor skills and stringing cheerios on spaghetti noodles.

 Stinging beads in the sensory table.
 Driving cars through our letter A and T tunnels in the block area.
 Apples for sale!!!

 Selling apples so we can make apple pies in the kitchen.

 We read a book about Johnny Appleseed at circle.
We then took turns wearing a pan on our head, planting apple seeds and finding an apple on our tree.
