Under the Sea week 2

We read a book titled Sun. We thought it was suuuuper silly to wear sunglasses while learning about the bright Sun!

Hanging out in our "boat" exploring the ocean. We saw dolphins, whales and sharks!

We went fishing at circle and took turns catching different colored fish... We had a blast singing our "Let's go Fishing" song too!

Water Play Day: )

Working on transferring water from a cup to a pool noodle! It was interesting to watch the water transfer from one object to another... We also worked together to accomplish the water transfer :)

Shaving Cream Fun!

Under the Sea

 It was a fun week learning about the ocean!

The monkey class listening to the sound  ocean waves make.

 We had fun digging for seashells.

 We had a blast making ocean waves with a blanket.  

 We thought it was super funny when the fish would flop around in our "waves".

 Super silly....a fish landed on one of our monkey friends :)

 We had a wet/dry science experiment. 

 We felt the difference between dry and wet oatmeal and cornstarch.

 It was definitely a messy play kind of day but we had fun exploring the different textures!

Monkey Friends

Participating in monkey activities and talking about why we love our monkey friends was a perfect way to end the school year: )

The kids really enjoyed singing and reading some of our favorite monkey songs and stories!
