Fourth of July

It was an exciting week learning about the Fourth of July.

We really enjoyed making loud firework sounds with our drums.

A monkey friend made a firework with K`nex!

We had a great time singing Happy Birthday to America in dramatic play with our birthday cake and American flags!

 We had fun looking at different pictures of colorful fireworks and then created our own fireworks with streamers!

 We all took turns creating colorful fireworks 

 We also used our drums to make firework sounds while each friend "shot" off their firework!

 We took great pride while making our own American flags :)

Pirates

It's been an EXCITING week acting like Pirates!

We loved using the words, Arrrghh and Ahoy Matey!

 We had to be super brave pirates to walk the plank and jump into the water: )
